Uzma Javed

Uzma has been in SOS care for about 14 years. She joined as a small girl along with 5 siblings, who had been abandoned by their father while mother remarried. The step father always maltreated the children. The children were referred by LHRA (Legal Human rights Referral Agency). She proved to be extremely intelligent and hardworking and always secured top position in her class. She completed her higher secondary school with good grades and also has good command in computer programming and other skills. She is an active Girl’s group leader as well. She joined Rayyanco Pvt. Ltd. after her intermediate and is working as a sales officer. She is a very trusted employee and appreciated for her performance. She is also pursuing her Bachelor Commerce program as a private student and a role model for SOS girls. Her presence around is a source of motivation and energy to the SOS Children.

Mehmood Ul Hassan

Mehmoodul Hassan, came under SOS care in 2004 at age 7 along with two elder sisters, after losing their father and mother remarried. He got settled well in SOS environment and being intelligent in studies also proved himself as good performer as a football player. After completing his matriculation, he qualified for Elite Police Force Academy and passed out from the Police Saeedabad Academy Karachi in 2013 after two years training. He is now posted as Police Officer at the Head Office. He is a brilliant young man, who aims to serve his motherland at his best. He is very popular among his fellow servicemen and officials for his efficiency and professional approach. He was assigned additional duties in “IDEAS INTERNATIONAL DEFFENCE EXIBITION” held at Karachi Expo Centre and PSL at Karachi Stadium last year, which he performed with distinction. He visits us frequently and always spends time with the children.
